Clarex® HSOT Light Guide Panel:

HSOT Light Guide Panel (Highly Scattering Optical Transmission) - a new concept Light Guide Panel for Edge-Light type Back Light Systems. Conventional Light Guide Panels have printed dot patterns or etched surfaces to diffuse light from an edge source - and use diffusion film.
New HSOT Light Guide Panels do not need printing, etching or diffusion film. They provide optimal scattering and illuminate the display extremely uniformly using an edge light.
Effective illumination performance is more than 30% better than conventional light guide panels.
