CLAREX Anti-Reflective, Coated Acrylic Sheets & Filters (AR, MH)

Optical coatings engineered for higher transmission and reduced reflection.

CLAREX anti-reflective (AR) coated filters are high-performance anti-reflective acrylic sheets designed to reduce glare and increase light transmission in precision optical applications. Each sheet is hard-coated before AR coating, providing enhanced scratch and chemical resistance while maintaining excellent optical clarity.

Added optional oleophobic anti-smudge coatings simplify cleaning, while AR coatings can be combined with non-glare textured surfaces for additional glare reduction. Standard AR designs are optimized for the visible spectrum, with custom coating designs available for NIR and UV applications.

  • Exceptional Optical Clarity – Optical-grade acrylic with light transmission exceeding 98% across the visible or custom design range.
  • Defect-Free Quality – 100% visually inspected to ensure consistent, high-performance optical surfaces.
  • Reduced Reflections – Custom anti-reflective coatings minimize glare and improve visibility.
  • Durable Surfaces – Scratch-resistant, hard-coated base layers support demanding environments.
  • Easy to Clean – Optional anti-smudge coating reduces fingerprints and maintenance.
  • Flexible Coating Options – AR coatings available on one or both sides, with or without anti-smudge coating. Also available with custom-tuned anti-reflective coating.
  • Manufacturing Ready – Excellent machinability and laser-cutting performance.
  • Fully Customizable – Thickness, formulations, coatings, and colors can be tailored to your application.

PRODUCT SPECS

Anti-Reflective Acrylic Transmission & Reflection Curves

These curves demonstrate the performance benefits of anti-reflective acrylic sheets in one-sided and two-sided configurations, improving optical clarity and reducing glare.

Customization

Custom anti-reflective sheets & parts to meet the needs of your applications.

Build your own sheets. Do you have a unique design requirement that cannot be met with off-the-shelf acrylic sheets? CLAREX acrylic can be fully customized and produced from low-volume runs to mass production. Select thickness, formulation, additives, pigments, textures, surface coatings, and optical coatings to create thin acrylic sheets tailored to your application.

Typical lead time is 4–12 weeks (depending on material configuration). Finished parts and assemblies can also be fabricated to specification.
