CLAREX near-infrared cut (NIR-cut) filters are high-performance acrylic and polycarbonate sheets engineered to transmit visible wavelengths while blocking near-infrared light. They’re a strong fit for NVIS-compatible displays and avionics applications where reducing NIR emission helps protect night-vision performance and improve system compliance.
In addition to controlling NIR transmission, these filters can also reflect or reduce NIR-related heat, making them useful for hot mirror applications in heat-sensitive optical systems. With excellent optical clarity and durable substrate options, CLAREX NIR-cut filters deliver consistent performance for demanding display, instrumentation, and optical integration environments.
