CLAREX Low Transmission Light Diffusers (DR-IIISX)
Low transmission bulk diffusers for use directly in front of high-bright LEDs with minimal gap.
The factory loads light scattering particles and white pigments into the cast acrylic sheets along with heavy matte textures front & back to make this line of diffusers. The lower transmission levels of the DR-IIISX Diffuser line helps eliminate hot spots and allows for increased uniformity when backlit by high-bright LEDs with minimal gap between the diffuser and the light source. With a wide range of transmission levels, you can choose the diffuser that gets you maximum uniformity and brightness without hot spots.
In applications where higher transmission and/or less hiding power is needed, consider the DR-IIICX Bulk Diffusers instead.
Benefits
- Available as thin as 0.5 mm, yet able to block up to 95% of light and provide effective diffusion
- Transmission and diffusion is the same regardless of thickness
- Extremely uniform surface brightness
- Light transmissions ranging from 5% to 40% in 5% increments
- Customizable features, including HiTemp
